Dr. rer. nat. Markus Teichmann (Dipl.-Inf.)
I am a post-doctoral research fellow working at the Institute of Theoretical Computer Science at the chair of Foundations of Programming of the TU Dresden.
My work centers around research in the field of natural language processing. I focus on tree grammars and tree automata and their weighted variants. I want to use these concepts to improve natural language understanding and parsing.
For my phD thesis, I investigate the connection between context-free tree grammars and regular tree grammars.
